Quickstart
This page takes a new organisation from nothing to a device running a container. The dashboard's setup guide does most of it for you; the same steps are listed below if you would rather do them by hand. It finishes with an example container you can use to confirm everything works before you bring your own software.
Download & Install
Admiral Base OS is available for traditional PC hardware (x86_64 / AMD64) and for supported ARM64 boards. This page covers downloading an image, flashing it, and the device's first boot.
Pairing
Pairing (claiming) adds a device to your Admiral organisation and assigns it to a fleet. There are three ways to do it:
Bluetooth Provisioning
Set up a new device's network and claim it into a fleet straight from your browser, over Bluetooth. No keyboard, monitor, or companion app is needed on site; this is the quickest way to bring up headless robots, gateways, and devices mounted out of reach.
Auto-Provisioning
Skip manual pairing during hardware assembly and deployment by downloading pre-enrolled Admiral OS images that claim themselves into your fleet on first boot.
