Overview
Admiral gives operators deep visibility and deterministic command control over individual edge hardware nodes, autonomous robots, and kiosks.
Device State & Diagnostics
When a robot stops in an aisle or a kiosk goes dark, the first question is why. Every current Admiral device continuously reports a structured state: what it is running, whether it has applied its latest configuration, how it is connected, how its storage and clock are doing, why it last rebooted, and what it is downloading or installing right now. Admiral Cloud turns that into a one-glance diagnosis, and you can ask an online device to run a live probe on demand.
Memory Testing
Failing RAM rarely announces itself. It shows up as crashes with no pattern, a perception stack that returns a wrong answer once a week, files that come back corrupted, or a robot that restarts at random under load. Logs and metrics look normal because the fault is below the software.
AdmiralAI Assistant
AdmiralAI is the assistant built into the Admiral dashboard. Ask it a question about your own fleet in plain language and it looks up the answer with your permissions: which devices are offline, why a workload keeps restarting, what changed overnight, what a rollout is doing. It can also search this documentation, link you to the right page, and open dashboard pages for you.
Logs
The device Observe > Logs page searches the logs from one device: kernel messages, Admiral platform logs, and your workload's stdout and stderr. Fleet > Observe > Logs does the same across every device in a fleet.
Telemetry
The Telemetry workspace brings every metric and log line your fleet produces into one place. Chart fleet-wide health, drill into a single device, search historical logs, and turn any query into an alert rule without leaving the page.
Custom Metrics
A workload can report its own application metrics, such as a count of robot falls or a battery level, and Admiral charts them next to the system telemetry. The workload writes StatsD-style lines to a local unix socket. The device agent aggregates them and sends them to the same telemetry pipeline as CPU, memory and disk metrics, with the same device and fleet labels.
Alerts & Alert Rules
Admiral raises alerts in two ways:
On-Device Console
Every Admiral device with a display shows a status console on its screen while no interactive workload is in the foreground. It tells whoever is standing at the machine what state it is in, shows the information needed to pair it, and offers local Wi-Fi setup and diagnostics from a USB keyboard.
Bluetooth Field Service
When a device is offline (a dead uplink, a changed Wi-Fi password, a misbehaving workload), a technician standing next to it can still diagnose and repair it from a browser over Bluetooth. Access is granted by Admiral Cloud according to the technician's permissions, and the device verifies it without needing a network connection.
